Dear Parents: If your family has qualified for free or reduced meals, you qualify for our School Food Pantry. Distributions are each week on Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm, in the parking lot beside the Agri Building and across from the Auditorium. We have a variety of food each week. The senior girls and senior boys games tonight with Hoxie will tip off at 5:00. The games tomorrow night with Riverside are scheduled to start at 5:00. The 7th grade boys will play the first game.

2nd Grade Parents/Guardians- Chromebooks, chargers and homework packets will need to be returned to the elementary office on the scheduled Flex Days, Thursday, December 17 or Friday, December 18 between 8:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. Thank You!

The Jackson County School District will be instituting two flex days, December 17-18. Facts about these two days. 1. All campuses will be open. It is up to the students/parents whether or not they attend school onsite or remain home these days, this is optional. 2. The buses will run normal routes. 3. There will be no new content instruction. 4. Focus of these days will be on student remediation & communication with virtual students.

The basketball games scheduled to be played Friday, December 18th at Melbourne have been cancelled.

Due to Covid, all second grade classrooms will pivot to virtual learning beginning Friday, December 11 through Friday, December 18. Chromebooks, chargers and homework packets will be sent home with students on Thursday, December 10. Teachers will touch base with you and your students through Remind App to give instructions on zooms and homework. Chromebooks, chargers and homework packets will need to be returned to the elementary office on the scheduled Flex Days, on Thursday, December 17, or Friday, December 18 between 8:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. If you would like to pick up a lunch tray, which includes breakfast for the following day, they can be picked up at the elementary school entrance, between 11 and 12. We apologize for the inconvenience, but want to take extra precautions to keep our students and their families safe.
