AMI schoolwork for the weeks of April 6th and April 13th, can be picked up:
Wednesday, April 1st from 1:00 to 6:00 pm.
Thursday, April 2nd from 8:00 to 12:00 am.

Tuckerman High School- The main entrance
All AMI paperwork will be turned in when school resumes onsite.
Meal distribution starts back tomorrow.

Breakfast from 8-9, Lunch from 11-12:30.
There will be a bus running the Tuckerman and Campbell Station City Routes delivering lunch and the next day’s breakfast together. The bus will be running these routes from 10 until 12 in the morning, if you’re in these areas, please be watching for the bus.
We all LOVE using BrainPOP & BrainPOP jr in the classroom! There are TONS of engaging learning games, animated movies, and activities. Designed with relevance, depth, and humor to encourage kids on their unique learning paths. They can also take quizzes, practice with the specific vocabulary, & have “mindful moments”!
You can also search specific videos that will help with the skills being practiced in current & future AMI packets!

The Jackson County School District will be closed thru April 17th for on site instruction.
Students currently have AMI work that will take them thru April 3rd. AMI work for the the two following weeks will be distributed at a later date to be determined.
The prom originally scheduled for April 18th, will be postponed to a later date.
The breakfast & lunch meal distribution will not be active during the week of spring break.

The Jackson County School District will be closed this week March 16 thru March 20th, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. These 5 days will be AMI days. The following week March 23rd thru March 27, we will be out due to Spring Break. The next day of school, as it stands, will be Monday March 30th.
Aramark will be serving breakfast and lunch for free to the students this week Monday thru Friday. It will be a grab and go meal.

Seniors/Class of 2020:
All scholarships that were due this week need to be turned in to the high school tomorrow between 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. Mr. Michael Smith and Mrs. Holland will be at the high school during this time to assist, review and collect scholarships. These scholarships include the McCartney, Alpha Delta Kappa, Farm Bureau, ASU Newport Ambassador & the AR Plant Management Scholarships. They will also be available through email during the week as well.
To all prospective cheerleaders planning on trying out for the senior high team: all practices and tryout dates have been postponed at this time. I will let you know when I have rescheduled practice and tryouts dates. Thank you for your patience!
JCSD Parents and Students:
At this time, JCSD will remain open. According to the Governor's Emergency Proclamation, the Secretary of Health and the Secretary of Education, have the sole authority to close public school campuses across the state for reasons related to COVID-19.
JCSD will continue to take directives from the Governor and the Arkansas Department of Health as we navigate the COVID-19 effect on Arkansas and our district and strive to keep the safety of our students and staff as our main priority.
We will continue to update the JCSD website and JCSD Facebook page as more information becomes available.
