The cross country team hosted the 4th annual Tuckerman Bulldogs River Run at Jacksonport State Park on Tuesday. This wouldn’t be possible without the help of Mark Ballard, Josh, and all the park workers. They mow the course, park the busses, and help in any way they can. Also M&P Insurance helps run the meet, and donates to help cover costs. Thanks so much to Danny Worthington, Mandy Daniels, and Sarah Metzger. In the Jr girls race, Alyssa Clark, Kinsley Wheeler, and Macy Bowen led the lady bulldogs, all finishing top 30. For the Jr boys, 3 runners medaled, with Avery Brunner placing 5th, Carson Furst 14th, and Davion Hargrave 20th. In the Sr girls 5K, August Huckabee ran her personal best time of 26:00 to secure a medal in 18th place. For the Sr boys, Andrew Chapman also medaled in 18th place, with a time of 21:42. Brian Hurst narrowly missed medaling, in 22nd place with a time of 22:24. The bulldogs will host the conference meet on Monday, October 28th at Jacksonport.
