Last week in pre-K we worked on routines and procedures. This week we are beginning our frog street and launchpad curriculum. In frog street we are introducing the term classmates and routines. We have learned where our names are on the letter wall and that our names begin with the same letter on the wall. We have been listening for target words today in small group and exploring with chain links in math.

The THS golf teams kicked off their season Tuesday with a match at Village Creek against Newport, McCrory, and Hillcrest. Returning all-state golfer Taryn Sink paced the 1st place Lady Bulldogs with a 39, earning her medalist honors for the day. Emily Gates and Karlee Penix also turned in a good score for their first varsity match. On the boys side, we have quite a few that made their golfing debuts as well. Newcomer Amare Neal had a 37, followed closely behind by Kade Keton with a 39 and Finley Lancaster with a 40. We return to action next Monday at Village Creek for a 1:30 tee time against Newport, Nettleton Westside, and Des Arc.
