Tuckerman High School will be taking a Pep Bus to the game at Manila on Wednesday. This will be for students in grades 8-12. Bring $7 for your admission ticket and sign up in the high school office. The bus will leave at 4:00, you will need money for food and concession stand, and you will need a ride home from the gym when we get back. It will be a late night, the game doesn't start until 8:30.

Students from Pre-Cal/Trig class worked in cooperative groups today after a formative assessment to fill in gaps in their learning. This is part of the PLC process, students are starting to take ownership of what a difference this process can make for individual achievement!

Baseball season starts Feb 26, but we couldn't wait until then to share this year's team with you. We will be having a red-white scrimmage this Tuesday at 4:30!! Free admission for everyone and we will have the concession stand open. Come check out the 2024 baseball team!!

As part of our ongoing commitment to assuring our student's and staff's safety and well-being, the JCSD will conduct a lockdown drill on all campuses the week of February 19th. This drill aims to familiarize students and staff with the procedures to follow during the unlikely event of a real emergency. Please rest assured that this is a precautionary measure and there is no cause for concern.
Students & teachers will follow established procedures, which will include teachers securing their doors, turning off lights and maintaining silence. The drill will only last a few minutes. Our SRO's, along with other members of law enforcement, will be responsible for opening each classroom door just as if it were a real emergency. We recommend discussing this upcoming drill with your child to alleviate any concerns.

This week in our math lesson we started the week off by building 2x2 grids, then we built a 3x3 grid. Today they had to match my 3x3 grid! The kids really enjoyed this activity!
PROM 2024 will be held on April 20, 2024. The Senior Walk will take place at the Tuckerman High School Auditorium beginning at 6:00 pm (seniors must be there to line up with their prom date by 5:45). Anyone is welcome to watch the Senior Walk and should be there by 6:00. Prom will follow at ASU-Newport (doors will open at 7:00 for pictures). We are also providing the Prom Participation Guidelines/Dresscode.
