Mr Michael Smith took a group of students to the ASU Preview Day event on Saturday, Oct 21. Students were able to visit with academic colleges, tour campus & dorms, and tour the Media & Journalism department. We wrapped up the event with tailgates & free Homecoming football game tickets. Those in attendance included Noah Pierce, John Allen, Nina Carvalho, Marie Epp, Brian Hurst & Will McNeese. Tuesday, the Cross Country team raced in Valley View's Blazer Invitational at Joe Mack Campbell Park. Zeke Church placed 2nd in the Jr Boys race, and the Jr Boys placed 4th overall as a team. Runners are continuing to get better and run personal best times! We are gearing up for the 3A-2 Conference meet on Tuesday at Melbourne. Let's go Bulldogs!





Happy to have AState College of Agriculture on campus talking to our AG classes about their program and opportunities! They also helped our seniors discover more scholarship opportunities through the College of Agriculture and walked them through the process of applying! Thank you to Dr. Manlove and the ambassadors for a great presentation!


Jr girls & 7th grade girls both pick up wins last night over Bradford! Lulah Brunner had 7 to led the lady pirates while maddyx soden had 13 & Maegen Richardson had 7 for the Jg.



Jr. Boys start the season with a big win over Bradford. They will be back in action tomorrow in the Sloan Hendrix Jr. High Tournament. They are the #1 seed and will face #8 seeded Mammoth Spring at 3:00. Go Dawgs!


Veterans Day Celebration!


This weeks lesson is about being kind and helpful. Today we followed a recipe and made bird seed donuts for the birds to eat. In our math lesson we used our number line 1-10 to count out connect cubs and use one to one correspond. We also learned that a number on a box (example: crayon box) tells us how many of that item is in the box.











Movie Night at the Ballpark Friday, OCTOBER 20th for all 8th-12th grade students!!!
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and come watch a movie on the baseball field. The concession stand will be open; all items are $1. The movie starts at 6:30! Admission is free!!!

THS Esports Team Fruits Basket won their match against Greene Co Tech today. Final score 3-2. Members are Elektra Loven, Nicholas Brooks & Kailyn Arter.


THS Esports team Funky Town, won their match against Springdale today, final score of 3-1. Team members included Jax Welsh, Pete Vankirk, Christopher Chatman & Zephyr Stover.


Jr high lady bulldogs open the season up at Pangburn's classic with a 42-32 Victory over Valley Springs. Maddyx Soden had 13, Maegan Richardson & Bristen Wheeler each had 10pts.
We will play at home Thursday against Bradford. 7g 7b Jg & Jb starting at 4:30.


Skills USA, FCCLA, and FBLA officers attended the 6th annual CTSO Leadership Day at the Arkansas State Fair on Tuesday. The students got to hear from various industry representatives that are responsible for making the fair run smoothly and a motivational message from Dr. Tyler Tarver. Before leaving, the students got to enjoy a little fun on the midway!
